Unlike granite, which usually needs a fresh protective top coat at least once a year, quartz requires less upkeep. Unlike certain natural stone options, these surfaces never require sealing.

Like granite, there are maximum sizes for quartz slabs as well. Typically, the large slabs measure 125″ by 65″. Countertops that exceed these dimensions require seaming. In this sense, it is comparable to granite. We make every effort to make this seam as undetectable as possible.

Quartz is ideal for coffee tables, shower edges, window sills, fireplaces and kitchen counters and bathroom vanity tops. Quartz is also a popular material for conference tables, reception tops, and food service counters in businesses. Quartz can become discoloured if exposed to excessive UV light, so using it outside is not advised.
